The Western Pennsylvania Law Library Association (WPLLA) is a non-profit organization established to promote the law librarian profession and encourage collaboration of law librarian professionals in Western Pennsylvania. Advance the practice of law librarianship. Develop and increase the usefulness and efficiency of law libraries. Promote the interests of librarians and members of their staff. Provide leadership in the field of legal information. Encourage cooperation among the members of the profession.

There is still time for action.

Trump is trying to gut funding for libraries: you can fight back with ALA.

Tell Congress to overturn the President’s harmful order to eliminate the Institute of Museum and Library Services: bit.ly/ProtectLibraryFunding. Eliminating IMLS, the only federal agency dedicated to funding library services, would be harmful for ALL the Americans who rely on library programs and services.

It was great to see everyone in person! Lexis even gave us a couple gift cards which were raffled off trivia style.
