Walking together for a world without Alzheimer’s 💜

On Saturday, the Louis Plung & Company team came out in force for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Schenley Park: Beth Bershok, Thomas L. Bakaitus, Jr., Sarah Kaufmann, Ellie Ewing, Danielle Blanco, Kaitlyn Farber, CPA, Steven Fisher, MBA, Linda tirio, and Janine Rider. We were joined by some wonderful extra helpers, too: Kaylee Pagane, Ruby (Danielle Blanco’s daughter), and Alyssa Rider (Janine Rider’s daughter). Thank you to this awesome team for coming together for such a great cause.

Tax deadline: done. Celebration: earned.

Yesterday the Louis Plung & Company team wrapped up the 10/15 tax deadline and took a well-deserved break to celebrate with a happy hour. After weeks of long days and a lot of hard work, it was so nice to kick back, enjoy a treat, and just hang out with each other.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone at LPC. Your dedication and teamwork are what make this place great, and we don’t take it for granted. A big thank you to our social committee for putting this together! Cheers to a great team and a job well done.

That’s a wrap on our fall college tour!



At Westminster College (PA), our Marketing & Client Experience Manager, Alyssa Falarski, spent time with students through presentations focused on preparing for the professional world, while Chiranjeevi Podapati and Ethan Croushore represented Louis Plung & Company at the college fair.



Joshua Radakovich and Anthony Simm also represented LPC at the Robert Morris University college fair, meeting with students and talking about what it’s like to start and grow a career in public accounting.



We’ve enjoyed getting out on campus this season and connecting with students at colleges and universities across the region. We hope to see some familiar faces again in the future!

For the 4th time, Louis Plung & Company has been named a Top Workplaces by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette!

We had a blast celebrating on Friday night at Rivers Casino & The Landing Hotel Pittsburgh, where 90 companies received the distinction of Top Workplaces in Greater Pittsburgh. We’re proud to be ranked #29 in the small business (under 150 employees) category.

Audit Manager Sam Heineman, CPA and Tax Supervisor Rajdip Sidhu attended the Fall Career Fair at Duquesne University on Sept. 23.

Tax Senior Adam Cox, CPA and Audit Staff Lucas Toohey attended the Accounting & Finance Career Fair at Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Sept. 23.

Big news for buyers, sellers, and lenders – due diligence is about to ramp up in deals financed by the Small Business Administration (SBA).



Starting October 1st, the SBA will now require a Quality of Earnings (QoE) report for deals of $3 million or more.
