As of Monday, July 13th, I will be Allegheny County's newest Assistant District Attorney. I am extremely lucky to embark of this journey, but it is not without a certain level of sadness over the thought of not representing the clients for which I have been honored to advocate. In this new position, I am unable to practice law, other than as an ADA, in any capacity. I will continue to be the conduit for those who want to find competent and zealous advocates. If you need an attorney for anything, please let me know and I will refer you to the appropriate colleague! Thank you all for your love, support, and for the trust that you've placed in me when asking me to handle your important case. The future hold endless opportunities and I intend to take advantage of them all.

With Kenny Chesney and about a hundred other country concerts just around the corner, seriously consider: 1) having a designated driver (who actually doesn't drink), 2) using uber, or 3) pay a family member to pick you up when you intend not to drink, but actually drink anyway. Seriously! A DUI is way more expensive than anything you will pay someone else to pick you up in a pinch!!

Be careful when you fill out an application to purchase a gun! If you pleaded guilty to a crime for which imprisonment could have been more than one year (1st degree misdemeanor), you have to disclose that on the application! If you are unsure, find out BEFORE you fill out the app. The PA State Police are pushing prosecution of purchasers who do not disclose, even if you misunderstood the form or question!
