And that’s a wrap on ELEVATE 2026: One Firm, Built to Last!

What an incredible weekend well spent in Chicago celebrating our people, strengthening relationships, sharing ideas, and looking ahead to the exciting possibilities for our firm.
Throughout ELEVATE, our attorneys and staff had opportunities to learn, connect, give back, recharge, collaborate, and simply enjoy being together. Over these past few days, one thing remained abundantly clear, the strongest foundation we have is our people.

We capped it all off with Built on Transformation: A Celebration with Unlimited Heights, coming together on the 99th floor of Willis Tower overlooking the Chicago skyline.
Thank you to everyone who brought their energy, enthusiasm, and spirit to ELEVATE 2026.

What a way to kick off ELEVATE 2026!

Today, colleagues from across Leech Tishman officially came together in Chicago for a full day focused on learning, collaboration, and connection.

Through engaging programming and shared discussions, we explored how we can continue to elevate the experience we provide to our clients and one another, strengthen collaboration across the firm, and embrace new ideas and technology as we look toward the future. These priorities are at the heart of this year’s retreat as we continue to evolve to meet the needs of our clients.

After an energizing day together, we headed out for Built on Tradition: A Night of Gangsters & Gemstones at Chicago’s Untitled Supper Club! It was the perfect opportunity to relax, have some fun, and enjoy time with colleagues from across the firm.

We’re so grateful to have our attorneys and staff together, and we’re just getting started!

It’s officially time for ELEVATE 2026: One Firm, Built to Last!

Our colleagues have started to arrive in Chicago for our firm’s all-firm retreat, and we’re anticipating a weekend of connection, collaboration, professional development, and plenty of fun!

Chicago, a city known for its iconic architecture, rich history, innovation, and ability to reinvent itself, is a fitting backdrop for this year’s theme. It also holds a special place in Leech Tishman’s history as the location of our first expansion outside of Pittsburgh.

Over the next few days, we’ll reflect on the strong foundation that has brought us here while focusing on the people, relationships, values, and shared experiences that will help us continue building a firm positioned to thrive for years to come.

The Department of Justice has revised two internal Justice Manual False Claims Act policies in ways that may strengthen defenses for government contractors and employers facing investigations or whistleblower suits.

The updates make clear that agency manuals, FAQs, policy statements, and similar guidance should not be treated as creating legal duties unless the duty appears in a statute, regulation, contract, or other binding obligation. DOJ attorneys should also more actively consider seeking dismissal of meritless qui tam actions after the Government declines to intervene.
