Not every divorce situation is the same — and neither is the process of selling a home during one. 💔🏡

One of the biggest questions couples face is:
“Should we both stay in the house until it sells, or should one person move out?”

The truth is, every situation is different. Sometimes it’s more financially beneficial for both parties to remain in the home until the sale is complete. Other times, emotional stress and conflict can make that nearly impossible. A lot depends on communication, cooperation, finances, and the overall dynamic between both people.

As a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®) — and someone who has personally gone through divorce myself — I understand how emotional and overwhelming this process can be. My role is not to take sides. I represent the house, the process, and the goal of helping both parties move forward as smoothly as possible.

From preparing the home, navigating difficult conversations, coordinating logistics, and helping maximize the value of the property — I’m here to guide you every step of the way with professionalism, neutrality, and compassion.

The goal is simple:
Sell the home for the highest and best value possible so both people can begin the next chapter of their lives. 🤍

If you have questions about selling a home please reach out. I’m always here to help.

Listing a house during a divorce can feel completely overwhelming.
It’s not just about selling a property — it’s about sorting through years of memories, belongings, emotions, and difficult decisions.

And honestly?
Decluttering alone can create so much conflict between couples. I see it all the time.

That’s why working with a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert matters.

I don’t take sides.
I don’t represent one spouse over the other.
I represent the process and the home.

My job is to:
✔️ Help get the home decluttered and organized
✔️ Prepare the property for the market
✔️ Reduce stress and conflict during the sale
✔️ Help both parties maximize the value of the home
✔️ Sell it as efficiently and quickly as possible

The goal is simple:
Don’t let the house become the reason the divorce drags on longer than it needs to.

Having a neutral professional involved can make all the difference during one of the most emotional transitions in life.

Divorce and real estate are deeply emotional — and one of the biggest mistakes I see people make is rushing to keep the house without fully understanding what’s involved.

Many people think, “I’ll just buy my spouse out,” but there’s so much more to consider:
• Refinancing the mortgage
• Qualifying on one income
• Increased debt and financial pressure
• Maintenance, taxes, and long-term affordability

Sometimes, the emotional attachment to the home can outweigh what truly makes sense financially for your future.

As a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®) — and someone who has personally gone through divorce — I understand both the emotional and financial sides of these decisions. My role is not to take sides. I represent the house and help both parties navigate the process fairly, professionally, and with the goal of getting the highest value possible so each person can move forward and start fresh.

Before making any major decision during a divorce, speak with someone who truly understands the process and the long-term impact it can have on your future.
I’m here to answer any questions you may have.

Not every Realtor is trained to handle the emotional and financial complexities of divorce real estate. Becoming a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert® requires specialized education, training, and understanding of the unique challenges divorcing homeowners face.

These situations are emotional, complicated, and life-changing — which is why working with someone specifically trained for divorce real estate matters. I’ve gone through extensive training to help guide clients with strategy, compassion, and professionalism during one of the hardest transitions in life.

Divorce is already overwhelming — selling a home during it shouldn’t add more stress.

That’s why working with a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert matters. I’m not just a Realtor® handling a regular sale. I’ve completed specialized training alongside divorce attorneys, judges, and financial professionals to understand the legal, emotional, and financial complexities that come with divorce real estate transactions.

From accurate home valuations and equity division to communication between both parties and protecting everyone involved in the process — this requires experience, strategy, and neutrality.

A divorce sale is different from a traditional real estate transaction, and having the right professional can make a major difference in the outcome.

I’m here to help guide clients through one of the most difficult transitions in life with professionalism, compassion, and expertise.

What a great day at the Pittsburgh Professional Women’s 8th Annual International Women’s Day Celebration. ✨

I loved walking around, meeting so many incredible women, and highlighting the amazing local vendors and women-owned businesses that are part of our community.

I also had the opportunity to speak as a vendor about my brand BySepi, sharing my all-natural deodorant and detox products and my passion for helping people reduce toxins in their everyday routines.

Events like this remind me how powerful it is when women come together to support each other, collaborate, and grow together. Pittsburgh has some truly inspiring women entrepreneurs! 💛

Realtor life means events, so getting ready is part of the job.

I’m here at Above All Grand Salon with Alyssa doing my hair before a Pittsburgh Professional Women event tonight.

They always take great care of me here. Alyssa does an amazing job, and Adam at the front desk makes you feel so welcomed — he always has a smile on his face and his laugh is contagious.

And honestly, it reminds me of something I always tell my real estate clients… presentation matters. Whether it’s how you show up professionally or how your home shows to buyers, first impressions make all the difference.

Morning walk in North Park with Charlie 🐕

In Pennsylvania we always have to watch out for ticks and Lyme disease, especially on the trails. I try to be really careful when we’re out hiking.

One thing that’s been working well for us is an all-natural oil I make using clean ingredients. It’s been helping keep the ticks off Charlie during our walks.

Just another part of our daily routine before I start my day helping people buy and sell homes around Pittsburgh
