Without respect there is no love.
A consistent lack of respect for the parties that have come before him.
A consistent lack of respect for the Lawyers seeking justice.
A consistent lack of respect for the blindness for which justice is to be sought.
There should be no surprise.
He was clear with his words from the bench the moment he first sat.
No milk of human kindness, if you will.

Without honest communication, there is no relationship.
Honest communication requires honest reflection.
Upon honest reflection, pure contrition for wrongs done should follow.
Justifying, “by way of explanation”, is the coward’s path.

Couldn’t remember the word “kerchief”?
Pop-Culture references?
Exhausted?

In an effort to do as I say and provide honest communication,
This justification, “by way of explanation” is dung.

You are who you are.
Own your misdeeds.
Learn from them and do better.
Acceptance of responsibility can mitigate.
Deflection of responsibility should eliminate.

Trust is earned in drops and lost in buckets.
There is no trust.
There can be no trust.
There will be no trust.
Without trust, there is no reason to continue.

If you believe as I do,
If you believe that racism has no place on the bench,
If you believe that Respect, Love, Honesty, Communication, Trust and Human Kindness do,
If you believe in Equality and Justice for All,

Please consider writing to the Court of Judicial Discipline and express your thoughts and demand that this Judge, who conducts himself in this manner, be permanently removed from the bench.

Under normal circumstances I would be asking each of you to be present and fill the hearing room at this Judge’s Judicial Conduct Board Hearing. However, a large gathering is not the best of ideas at this time. Nonetheless, if we want a justice system that instills trust within the community and is founded on principles of fairness and compassion, get writing.
