Pitt Law Women's Association PLWA is an educational and professional network that promotes women’s causes. Our membership is open to current Pitt Law students.

The Pitt Law Women's Association (PLWA) exists to connect the Pitt Law community and provide students with activities and events that will further their law careers. The Pitt Law Women's Association was founded to give female law students a community within a male-dominated field. As women's equality in the law has grown, PLWA as changed as well into an organization dedicated to celebrating the ac

complishments of women in the law and helping to provide career guidance and support to anyone who is dedicated to furthering gender equity in the profession. Some of the many exciting events PLWA plans for its members include: happy hours, a mentor-mentee program, social and community service activities, leadership opportunities for 1L students, networking events, outlines, study aids, and more!
