Today, a judge ordered that Allegheny County must implement a county-wide reassessment by 2032. It appears that the County will comply with and not challenge the Order.
We’ll know in the coming months who the County hires to do the job reassessing over 585,000 parcels. It’s a years-long process, and we’ve seen that aligning reassessment values with true market values is no easy task. Morella Bencsics will be there to make sure the job is done correctly.
