Attorney Allyssa Rispoli had a MOMENT this week:

She stepped up last minute for a client who’d just been released from a 6-month unlawful immigration hold only to learn he had an old warrant, and deputies were ready to take him in on the spot.

Attorney Rispoli sprang into action and, in an extremely rare turn of events, cleared the warrant right from Family Division. Client never even left the waiting room. Walked out a free man minutes later.

Then, still riding that high, she walked right down the hall, leveraged preparation and sheer grit, and secured a full withdrawal on a felony case. Same day. Same energy. Justice for all before lunch.

🏠 Children Returned Home — After zealous advocacy on behalf of a family fighting to be reunited, Attorney Petricca successfully secured the return of their children. There is no greater outcome in Dependency work than watching a family walk out of that courtroom together. That's exactly what happened this week!
✅ ChildLine Appeal Sustained — In a separate matter, Attorney Petricca successfully argued a ChildLine appeal on behalf of a client who was improperly listed in the statewide abuse registry. The appeal was sustained, and the client's name will be removed from the database — protecting their reputation, their livelihood, and their future!

🏛️ Two outstanding courtroom victories today for our criminal defense team!

✅ Attorney Rispoli secured a nolle prose on a felony charge, resulting in the complete dismissal of the case in Allegheny County.

✅ Attorney Martinelli achieved a tremendous result at a probation revocation hearing, successfully persuading the court to release the client from jail instead of imposing a state prison sentence in Westmoreland County.

Pennsylvania drivers need to be familiar with “Paul Miller’s Law,” an addition to the traffic code that prohibits driving while using an “interactive mobile device.” Driver’s can now be stopped and cited if observed by law enforcement for “using” their mobile devices, as defined in the statute, as the 12-month stop-and-warn period is now over. There’s a reason we call her “Ally Cat…”

Attorney Rispoli had one of those days that serves as a reminder of why diligent advocacy matters. After extensive work and preparation, a felony drug case and a juvenile felony matter were both withdrawn today, bringing meaningful relief to two clients and their families.

In another matter, Attorney Rispoli successfully argued against excessive restitution being imposed on a juvenile, with the Judge agreeing that restitution exceeding $600 was too speculative under the circumstances presented. And in another emotionally charged matter, she was able to help secure a path toward rebuilding important family relationships by obtaining an order allowing a set of grandparents — despite a complicated familial history — to have overnight custody time with their grandchild.

Every courtroom victory looks different, but fairness, preparation, and persistence remain at the center of each result. Grateful for the opportunity to continue fighting for clients every day! Great work Ally!

Our office takes our clients’ domestic cases and parental rights seriously, and will stop at nothing to achieve the results our clients deserve. This week, that is exactly what Attorney Brittany Petricca did as a marathon-style case of parental rights came to a close in her client’s favor! Attorney Petricca’s skill, strategy, and pure grit pushed the case to a successful and final conclusion.
