Our office will be closed today due to inclement weather. As the Allegheny County and Washington County courthouses are also closed, all hearings scheduled for today have been postponed. We will reach out directly to all clients who are affected, and the courts will issue rescheduling notices promptly.

Back-to-school season can feel stressful for co-parents, so here are 3 tips to keep things running smoothly this fall:

1. Give your child's school a copy of the custody agreement so they know who contact in case of emergency, who will be doing school pick-ups, etc.

2. Make sure your child knows this information as well! They need to be reminded which days they will be with each parent and who will be picking them up and attending their events.

3. Create a shared family calendar that details all school days, extracurriculars, and the custody schedule so there are never any mix-ups.
