The 16th Annual Saluda River Rally is BACK this Saturday, June 6th! 🎉

One of the things we love most about living in the Powdersville area is the incredible access we have to the outdoors and the people who work hard to make our community special.

This upcoming paddle fundraiser is a great opportunity to support Area 14 Anderson County Special Olympics Athletes while experiencing two incredible local destinations: Dolly Cooper Park and the NEW Piedmont Riverfront Park.

Participants will paddle nine scenic miles along the Saluda River, launching from Dolly Cooper Park and finishing at Piedmont Riverfront Park. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or simply looking for a fun way to support a great cause, this event is a wonderful way to enjoy the natural beauty of our area while giving back.

As our community continues to grow, it's exciting to see these parks become places where families, friends, and neighbors can gather, explore, and make lasting memories.

Giving back to the Powdersville community has been a serious commitment of mine for over 30 years. With the support of Jimmy Davis, the last eight years of volunteering countless hours have finally made a difference for Powdersville.

Serving a community in the trenches with your time and hard work, no matter how long it takes, is what Jimmy does. The people I respect most are those who dive in, go to work, and show up again and again to see a project through. They serve beside you, listen, and truly see and understand the needs of a community firsthand.
