Announcement!

Effective January 1st, Cruse Law Firm will be reorganized into two distinct companies.

Alexander & Cruse will officially open, providing legal representation (by Tyler & Bill) to current clients who opt for continued representation, as well as new clients.

Assurance Title will also open, continuing to offer comprehensive title, escrow, and closing services to both current and new clients. Any ongoing closing, purchase, construction, or title opinion will be handled by Assurance Title.

After a lot of time, debate, consideration, and prayer I have decided to focus on the title side more exclusively. As part of that transition, we will rebrand as Assurance Title on January 1, 2026.

I believe anyone selling a house should have a title exam and title opinion before listing the house. The Title Opinion should be available with the other property conditions disclosures.

My realtor and lender friends may not agree, but I would like people to know that the seller owns the property before a contract is entered into.
