One of my favorite parts of this work is helping people realize they're not the only ones asking these questions.

The newsletter is where I share the conversations that keep coming up.

Questions about co-parenting.
Questions about mediation.
Questions about finances, communication, and moving forward.

If you've ever thought, "Surely someone else is dealing with this too," the answer is usually yes.

I'd love to have you join us.

Three things I wish every co-parent remembered during a disagreement:

1. The child is listening, even when you think they aren't.
2. The issue you're arguing about today will probably feel smaller six months from now.
3. The relationship you're building with your co-parent is also the relationship your child experiences.

You don't have to agree on everything, but you do have to keep showing up.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is: "Let's figure this out." 💛

The word custody can make people immediately think of a courtroom.

A judge.
A hearing.
A long day sitting on uncomfortable benches.

But there are other paths available.

Mediation.
Collaborative law.

These processes give families opportunities to have meaningful conversations, solve problems, and create solutions that fit their actual lives.

In this video, I talk about some of the alternatives available and why they can be so effective for families who want to keep moving forward.

Every family law case starts with questions.

Some are practical. Some are emotional.

And some show up at 2:00 in the morning when your brain decides sleep is optional.

That's why I created this free resource.

It's designed to help you organize your thoughts, focus on what matters most, and feel a little more grounded as you consider your next steps.

A little clarity can go a long way.

Families don't all look the same anymore. Relationships are more varied than they've ever been, and when those relationships end, people often discover that the legal system hasn't kept pace with real life.

I've had conversations with people in open marriages and polyamorous relationships who weren't even sure where to begin. Who has legal rights? What happens to shared property? What if children are involved?

These aren't hypothetical questions. They're real issues facing real people.

Every family deserves thoughtful guidance that starts with listening, asking the right questions, and looking at the facts of their unique situation.

If you're curious about how these relationships intersect with family law, or you're facing these questions yourself, I explore them in this blog.

The newsletter is where I get to talk directly to you.

No courtroom formality. No polished corporate voice.

Just real conversations about co-parenting, mediation, custody, support, and the emotional realities that come with family transitions.

Short enough to actually read. Helpful enough to keep opening.

Some dates live in our collective memory forever.

September 11 is one of them.

Many of us remember exactly where we were.
Who we were with.
What the air felt like that morning.

Today is a day to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary courage shown in impossible circumstances.

We pause with gratitude.
With respect.
And with remembrance.

❤️🤍💙

One of the first questions people ask me is: “How long is this going to take?”

Fair question.

Because when your life feels like it’s in transition, time suddenly feels very personal.

The honest answer? It depends.

How much needs to be resolved?
How willing are both people to engage in the process?
Are you using mediation?

Mediation can absolutely help move things along because decisions happen in real time instead of getting dragged through months of back-and-forth.

I explain it here.

If your brain has been running through the same questions on repeat, this is for you.

“What happens next?”
“What should I be thinking about?”
“Am I missing something important?”

That spiral is exhausting.

This free resource helps you get grounded so you can take your next step with more clarity and a little less stress.

Sometimes one good resource is all you need to stop spinning.
