Sir Galahad and his wild horse herd in Northern California tip toe around the wild protected California poppies- busting the myth that wild horses stomp on and destroy native plants.

Wild horses are not a curse for our vast range grassland ecosystems - in fact they’re a gift- already the positive impact of the herds presence is apparent in the multitude of newly thriving native wildflowers, plants, bees and butterflies!

The name Galahad refers to the purest and most noble Knight of the Round Table in Arthurian legend, renowned for achieving the Holy Grail due to his virtue. Symbolically, a "Galahad" represents a man of exceptional, incorruptible virtue, selflessness, and chivalry.

Together, we can and are shifting the paradigm. 🐎✨

What is Wild Horse Rewilding?
It’s the process of relocating wild horses from crowded government holding pens back to ecologically appropriate lands where they can live naturally and roam free—with guided, step-by-step support to help them readapt to the wild.

🔁 Assisted Rewilding = Humane Transition
This includes gradual herd reintroduction, resource familiarization, and habitat acclimation—ensuring horses thrive, not just survive.

🔥 New York Members, PLEASE TAKE ACTION 🔥
The SAFE Act did not make it into the Farm Bill language but we have heard that Congressman Buchanan will bring it to the floor when the Farm Bill comes up for a vote.

The SAFE Act has 226 Cosponsors. There's no doubt that it would pass on the floor. However, it HAS TO BE APPROVED BY THE RULES COMMITTEE‼️ THE BUCK STOPS WITH THEM.

Rep. Nick Langworthy, who serves New York’s 23rd District, has never co-sponsored the SAFE Act but is ALSO on rules committee. This isn't good news for anyone that loves horses.

IF Rep. Nick Langworthy is your congressman, please call (202) 225-3161 and say: "We would like to ask that the Buchanan amendment be ruled in order by the Rules Committee." You can also say that New York has led the way in protecting horses and, as he knows, has passed their own state version of the SAFE Act and you expect him to align with New Yorkers values.

This bill revises the 2018 Dog and Cat Meat Trade Prohibition Act, passed as an amendment to the 2018 Farm Bill, by adding “equines” to the prohibition against companion animal slaughter for human consumption.

The amendment will prevent tens of thousands of American equines, wild and domestic, from being inhumanely shipped to the most horrific deaths you could ever imagine, in foreign slaughter plants across U.S. borders.
