And last, but not least, on this last day of Hispanic Heritage Month, we are proud to recognize Arturo Gonzalez, an important part of the Chapa Law Group team.

Arturo was born in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico. At just four years old, his family immigrated to the United States and settled in rural North Carolina.

A proud immigrant and the first in his family to attend college, Arturo graduated magna cm laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte before earning his law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

His legal experience includes wrongful death motor vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, severe traumatic brain injury cases, and commercial litigation disputes. He has also obtained numerous settlements in excess of $1 million for clients.

Arturo is fluent in Spanish and remains actively involved in organizations serving the Hispanic and local community.

His story is a reminder that representation isn’t just about where you practice law. It’s also about understanding the people and communities you serve.

As Hispanic Heritage Month continues, we’re recognizing the story and legacy of Miguel J. Chapa, founder of Chapa Law Group.

Miguel J. Chapa was born in San Antonio and raised in a ranching community along the Texas-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley.

After earning his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, Miguel began his legal career as a briefing attorney for U.S. District Court Judge Filemon B. Vela before opening his own personal injury practice.

Today, Miguel represents clients in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases and has litigated against some of the largest corporations in the world. Throughout his career, he has recovered more than $100 million for his clients.
