We had the good fortune to host a couple of High School Seniors this past month, as they completed their Senior Class Projects with SHG. Learn more about one of our Seniors, Liam Haines
“Hi, my name is Liam Haines, I’m a soon-to-be graduate from The William Penn Charter School and a rising freshman at Wake Forest University. For the past five weeks, I’ve been an intern at Solow, Hartnett, and Galvan Immigration Law. Starting out, I didn’t really know what to expect. I knew I was interested in the field, but wasn’t aware of the wide range of material the firm deals with. When I first walked through that door, everyone was welcoming, but more than that, patient, and eager to explain immigration law to me. I learned so much on that first day: about the system, legal processes, how an office functions, and even most people’s names! Whether it was becoming best friends with the office’s scanner or helping with cover letters and case research, my time here has been an extremely valuable learning experience. The trust and overall positive attitude of the office, even when dealing with such tough topics, has been a major highlight for me and has made me appreciate my many mentors around the office greatly. Thank you so much to everybody for your help and experience.”
