Newly obtained video is raising serious questions about the circumstances surrounding the death of a 48-year-old man in Philadelphia’s Olney neighborhood.
According to 6abc, the video shows a Philadelphia police officer stopping after the man fell in the roadway, then leaving the scene. Less than five minutes later, the man was struck and killed by a passing vehicle.

Newly obtained video shows the moments a Philadelphia police officer left a man lying in the roadway in Olney minutes before the man was struck by a vehicle and killed.
The video, obtained by Action News on Monday, shows an officer stopping to assist a 48-year-old man who had fallen on Rising Sun Avenue near the intersection with Olney Avenue. The officer parked his vehicle to block the intersection and appeared to speak with the man.
