With regard to the article that says "WV Courts Are Suspended." Please-PLEASE- contact your attorney or the Circuit Court to confirm whether or not your hearing is canceled. Some Courts are requiring litigants to appear by phone, some proceedings will be held normally, and some will be continued. Your attorney and the Circuit Clerk can confirm. DO NOT ASSUME!!

UPDATE: The phone problem is not completely resolved. We are having problems with the phones "rolling over" to voice mail, when both lines are in use. The 5050 number and 5555 number are working. We can call out, and you can call in. However, if both lines are in use, then you cannot leave a voice message. The phone company is telling me that it can be fixed on Thursday. Again, thank you for your patience, and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Just to let everyone know, I moved my office to 105 North Grove Street (the old Hott Insurance building by the Grant County Courthouse). The problem is that the phone service is not setup correctly yet. I have limited phone service, and the company intends to fix the problem tomorrow (we will see). The phone company was working on the lines today but were not successfully in setting things-up. At one point (the entire morning through lunch), the phone company had switched my phone number to another private individual's phone line. They notified me of the problem and the problem was corrected later in the day. However, the private individual disconnected there phone. I did not receive any voicemails that may have been left this morning prior to 3:00 p.m. The numbers will still remain the same, and Mr. Huffman can still be reached at the same numbers. I did not expect things to go smoothly with the phone transfer, and I was unfortunately correct. We do not have fax or internet, as well. Please be patient, and I apologize for the inconvenience; no one (NO ONE) hates this more than me, but there is never a good time to move.

Thank to you everyone that supported me and voted for me. While the reported numbers are conflicting at this time as to whether or not I finished second or fourth, I did not win the election. Again, thank you to everyone that supported me and helped me with this election, including family and friends, too many to mention. If you see any of my signs along the road, then please feel free to pick them up, just be mindful of the property owners.
