We’ve been busy with several fun book signings at offices in Theatre Square, for Frances Rivetti’s new fiction release . This thrilling story is set on the Sonoma Coast with modern day Big Chill vibes. You can purchase copies at your favorite bookstores (encourage them to order more stock if they don’t have it on the shelf) and also in person at the museum store in Petaluma where Frances will be reading from 5-7pm Wednesday Nov 19th. The museum event is free but please rsvp through the museum’s event section on its website . Books are also available in ebook form and in print at the major online book retailers. Fifty percent of these books sold at the museum will benefit the museum while stocks last. Support local authors with local book gifts this holiday season! Thanks to all the friends and community neighbors who have stopped by these early signings. We’ll keep you posted on upcoming events.

Last week’s Veteran’s Day Parade showcased our beautiful downtown under a soft, blue sky. Winter approaches and temperatures have dropped since the weekend but it’s great to see green hills again after the long season of warmth. We’re looking forward to holiday 2025 Petaluma style where the spirit is community, caring and kindness over chaos. 🍁🍂🧡

We’re sure Casa & other high schools in town have similar programs to this wonderful, annual drive at Petaluma High School. It would be a double winner to purchase gift cards from small businesses in Petaluma that would appeal to teens in need at this time of year. Let’s keep our holiday dollars local Petaluma and bring some cheer to the students who need it most in our community

Petaluma Visitors Program (PVP) has announced its 2024 Holiday City of Lights Driving Tour Map. PVP, once again, encourages those residents,who go all out with holiday home and yard decorating, to list their homes on the 2024 Holiday City of Lights Driving Tour Map.

Using the map, visitors and residents alike will easily locate the most spectacularly decorated houses in Petaluma.

This community-building tradition has been a popular family activity for many years. The map, pinpointing the decorated homes, will be available at the Visitors Center at 210 Lakeville Street and posted on VisitPetaluma.com starting December 1. The map with list of festive homes will also be listed in the Petaluma Argus-Courier.

To have a home listed on the map, homeowners may sign-up online at VisitPetaluma.com or email [email protected]. Entries must be received by Friday, November 15 for inclusion. Decorations must be up by December 1. For more information, interested parties may call the Petaluma Visitors Center at (707) 769-0429.
