Happy Closing Day to The Lotts!! 🏡🤍🔑

This one feels extra sweet because this isn’t just the house they bought… this is the house that they will raise their family in.

The backyard where little feet will run around, the rooms that will change as their family grows, the trees they’ll watch through every season, and a whole lot of memories that haven’t even happened yet.

Seeing these two so excited today reminded me all over again why I love what I do. They’ve worked hard for this moment, and I’m so honored I got to be a small part of it.

Cheers to the Lotts, their beautiful new home, the BEST fenced-in yard, the prettiest trees, and this next chapter of life. Y’all deserve every bit of it!

Meet Our Team – Mary Ann Walker

Mary Ann Walker is our Client Relations Coordinator and joined Sally Jean Roberts, PLLC in 2022. Before joining our team, she built an impressive 40-year career in banking, specializing in both residential and commercial lending. During her banking career, she also served as a Vice President at Citizens State Bank, bringing decades of knowledge and experience to our office.

Mary Ann is a true people person. There aren't many faces that walk through our doors that she doesn't recognize! She loves greeting clients, catching up with old friends, and making everyone who visits our office feel welcome.

Since joining Sally Jean Roberts, PLLC, one thing Mary Ann has gained a greater appreciation for is the importance of estate planning and helping families get their affairs in order before they need them.

Outside of the office, Mary Ann is an active member of Perry Elks Lodge #1851, where she enjoys being involved in the community.

Lesley joined our team in 2022, bringing with her an extensive background in real estate and banking. Her knowledge and experience, combined with her passion for helping people, make her an invaluable part of our closing team.

Lesley loves working with buyers, sellers, Realtors, and lenders to guide each transaction from contract to closing. Whether it's a first home, a vacation getaway, an investment property, or a family's forever home, she enjoys helping clients reach one of life's biggest milestones.

Outside the office, Lesley is a devoted wife to Sid and a proud mom of four. When she's not coordinating closings, you'll most likely find her soaking up the sunshine on a boat at the river or lake, making memories with her family.

Mattea Chaffin

Today we're introducing Mattea, our Legal Assistant at Sally Jean Roberts, PLLC!

For the past five years, Mattea has been an integral part of our team, helping clients navigate the legal process with care, attention to detail, and a friendly smile.

Her favorite part of the job is getting to know our clients, hearing their stories, and working together to help them accomplish their goals. While many people might find legal paperwork and research tedious, Mattea genuinely enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of making sure every detail is just right.

One fun fact? When Mattea joined our office, she had no prior legal experience and knew very little about what the job would entail. Five years later, she's discovered a career she truly loves!

Some deals are straightforward… and some remind you why patience matters. 🏡

My buyers originally fell in love with this property weeks ago, but we couldn’t quite get a deal together at the time. Even after moving on, this one stayed in the back of everyone’s mind.

Then the opportunity came back around.

The seller made a price adjustment, my buyers were ready, and within 30 minutes we had this property locked down and back under contract. From there, everything fell into place — inspections done, hurdles cleared, and today we officially made it to the closing table. 🙌

Moments like this are always special because it’s never just about the transaction. It’s about helping good people land the place they truly wanted all along.
