You may not be ready to file your full VA disability claim today but that does not always mean you should wait to take action.

An Intent to File may help preserve an earlier effective date while you gather the records and evidence needed to prepare your claim.

That date can matter if benefits are later awarded.

If you are considering filing a VA claim and are unsure where to begin, schedule a free 15-minute call with Obsidian Ridge Law.

Let's clear up an important distinction.

Digital does not mean DIY legal planning.

Our new Digital Estate Plan isn't a downloadable template or a generic online estate plan.

You're still working with our firm.

We're still providing personalized attorney-guided planning.

Your documents are still customized.

And your plan still receives attorney review and revisions.

What's different?

Instead of paying for the full concierge experience, Digital clients receive their completed plan electronically and manage physical completion themselves—or add individual concierge services when needed.

Same legal planning. Different service experience.

That's the idea behind Estate Planning—Your Way.

Signature or Digital?

There isn't a "better" option. There's simply the option that better fits you.

If you want us to manage the details through ex*****on, Signature provides the full concierge experience.

If you're comfortable managing printing, signing logistics, witnesses, and other physical completion steps yourself, Digital gives you greater flexibility at a lower price.

And if you choose Digital but need help with a particular step? Concierge services can be added individually.

Your estate plan should be personalized.

Now the experience can be, too.

Take that first step today. Schedule your Estate Planning Strategy Session to get started. During our launch, we're opening a limited number of early-morning, evening, and weekend appointments to make estate planning easier to fit into your schedule.

We're also offering special launch pricing on both our Signature and Digital Estate Plans for a limited time. To receive launch pricing, your engagement agreement must be signed by September 7. Your Estate Planning Strategy Session can take place after September 7.

We’re introducing something new at Obsidian Ridge Law.

Estate Planning—Your Way.

We know estate planning is important. We also know that time, convenience, and cost can sometimes make it easier to keep putting it off.

So we’ve created another way to get it done.

You can now choose between our traditional Signature Estate Plan, with a full concierge-level experience, or our new Digital Estate Plan, offering a streamlined and more affordable way to complete your planning.

And here’s the important part: the legal planning doesn’t change.

Both options include personalized attorney guidance, customized estate planning documents, and attorney review and revisions.

Same legal planning. Different service experience. You choose what works for you.

Ready to put your estate plan in place?

Now is a great time to take that first step. Schedule your Estate Planning Strategy Session to get started. During our launch, we’re opening a limited number of early-morning, evening, and weekend appointments to make estate planning easier to fit into your schedule.

We’re also offering special launch pricing on both our Signature and Digital Estate Plans for a limited time. To receive launch pricing, your engagement agreement must be signed by September 7. Your Estate Planning Strategy Session can take place after September 7.

One of the biggest estate planning mistakes happens after a spouse passes away.

Many couples name each other as their primary decision-maker, beneficiary, or trustee. After a loss, those documents may no longer reflect your wishes or your current circumstances.

Taking the time to review your plan now can provide clarity and peace of mind for the future.

If you'd like help knowing where to begin schedule a 15 min call today.

Many couples assume that everything they own automatically passes to the surviving spouse.

In reality, it depends on how assets are titled, whether beneficiaries have been designated, and whether probate is required.

Understanding these distinctions before a crisis occurs can save families significant time, expense, and confusion.
