Not Guilty Verdict!! On August 20, 2026, following a 3-day jury trial, a federal jury in the Central District of Illinois returned a verdict of Not Guilty on two counts. The federal conviction rate is over 90%. The client maintained his innocence from Day 1. His two-year nightmare, which included two prior mistrials, is finally over.

Not only does speeding through construction zones pose a significant risk to workers, but it also will result in substantial fines and court costs. The Illinois State Police has been issuing (seemingly) as many tickets as it can over the past couple of months. Particularly with the holiday season approaching, this is your warning to exercise caution and reduce your speed. Be safe!
