Early voting is available through October 31, with locations at select libraries and community centers throughout the county.
Unlike Election Day, when you must vote at your assigned precinct, early voting allows you to visit any designated early voting location in Escambia County!

Reminder! Today is the Last Day to Request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot in Florida!

Planning to vote by mail in the November 3 General Election? Today, October 22, is the deadline to request that your ballot be mailed to you. Requests must be received by your county Supervisor of Elections by 5:00 p.m. today!

Missed the deadline? You still have options! Early voting is available at designated locations in your community, or you can vote in person at your assigned polling location on Election Day, November 3.

Visit your county Supervisor of Elections website to find early voting locations, dates, hours, and other important election information.

✅ MARC LOCATIONS OPENING TODAY: Escambia County will open two Multi-Agency Resource Centers, or MARCs, providing residents with a central location to access storm-related resources and assistance.

The MARCs will be open at the following locations Thursday, Oct. 15 from 1-7 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day:

📍 Bayview Senior Center, 2000 E. Lloyd St., Pensacola
📍Salvation Army Building, 1501 N. Q St., Pensacola

Residents impacted by Hurricane Isaias can visit the MARCs to request assistance for individuals, families and businesses from nonprofit and state partners for food, water, housing, recovery services, and more.

Please note: MARC sites are intended to provide information and assistance to impacted individuals. These are not food or supply distribution sites.

ECAT - Escambia County Area Transit will provide free transportation assistance to the MARC locations. For transportation assistance, please call 850-471-6657 Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m. To 5 p.m. and reference MARC.

As cleanup continues, remember to take photos of any storm damage for your records and report damage through the appropriate county resources. We’re sharing this helpful post from Escambia County Emergency Management with information on how to report damages.

Please continue to use caution on the roads, watch for debris and downed trees, and stay away from downed power lines. If a road looks unsafe, turn around and find another route.

For more local updates on debris pickup, road closures, and recovery efforts, be sure to follow Escambia County Emergency Management.

With Hurricane Isaias approaching, please be careful if you need to travel during or after the storm!
A few important safety reminders:
• Turn around, don't drown! Never drive through flooded roads.
• Watch for downed trees and debris. Report blocked roads in Escambia County through the portal at MyEscambia.com.
• Stay away from downed power lines. They could still be live. Report them to your power company.
• Follow road closures and barricades. Never drive around them.
Most importantly, if you don't need to be on the roads, please stay home.
Stay safe, stay dry, and take care of yourselves and your families!

So glad I was able to make some time to get out of the office and give back!
I had such a great time volunteering at The Farm / Fbf of Pensacola Inc with ONE Pensacola alongside some of the LP Personal Injury team. It’s always nice to step away from the day-to-day, spend time together, and do something good for our community.

As the result of a vehicle crash, I suffered serious, life-changing injuries. Injuries that will forever change the quality of my life, and very likely, have shaved a few years off the end of it.
I don't know how anyone can navigate the gauntlet involved when dealing with insurance companies and medical providers without the assistance of an attorney. That goes for any injury, not to mention serious injuries or worse. Without hesitation, I chose the law firm of Levin Papantonio.
This choice was a no-brainer. They have the resources and experience you will need. They are local and care about you and our community by constantly giving back and educating us about legal matters and case law. This is important to me.
I would like to give a very special thank you to my attorney, Rachael Gilmer, and her assistant, Johanna Kanen. They are second to none and will forever have my gratitude.

You don't really think about the substantial mental pressure you experience when you suffer a serious injury until it happens to you. The way you are treated, especially during this period of vulnerability, makes a BIG difference. Even though they most certainly did not have to, Rachel and Johanna were extremely patient and guided me through a very rough time in my life. Of which I am so appreciative.
An attorney/law firm only interested in you as just another cash cow on the assembly line doesn't show the level of care and empathy I received.

Another great night of People’s Law School! It’s wonderful to see so many people from our community come out, ask questions, and be part of the conversation.
