Insurance companies only pay once. Make sure it covers everything.

If you accept a settlement after your first ER visit, you could be giving up your right to future compensation. That means no additional recovery for surgery, physical therapy, follow-up care, or other treatment you may need later.

Once you settle, your case is over. Before accepting any offer, make sure you understand the full extent of your injuries and what your recovery may require.
