When is a child ready to move out of a booster seat? It comes down to fit, not age.

A child may be ready when their knees bend naturally at the edge of the seat, their feet hang down comfortably, and the seatbelt rests across the top of their thighs instead of their stomach.

The safest fit is based on how your child sits in the vehicle seat.

After a trucking accident, time matters.

Commercial trucking companies often send investigators and experts to the scene within hours to begin building their case. That’s why it’s important to act quickly, too.

Your health and medical care should always come first. As soon as possible, contact an attorney who can begin investigating the crash, protecting your rights, and preserving critical evidence.

One of the scariest moments of my life was when my son was involved in a car accident. As a mother, getting that phone call is something you never forget. Going to the scene and seeing everything firsthand gave me an even deeper understanding of what so many of my clients’ experience after a traumatic crash. That experience stayed with me, and it changed the way I connect with the families I represent because I understand the fear, uncertainty, and emotional weight that can come with moments like that.

I’m so excited to have my son, Mac, joining me to talk about what it’s like growing up with an attorney as a mom and what it has been like for me managing motherhood and my career at the same time. It has definitely been a balancing act, but becoming a mom has made me more compassionate and empathetic, which helps me better connect with and advocate for my clients every day.
