Artificial intelligence is making scams more convincing than ever.

Scammers may be able to use a short voice clip from social media to create a realistic imitation of someone you know. They may pretend to be a family member, a friend, or another trusted person and create a false sense of urgency.

If you receive an unexpected call asking for money, personal information, or immediate action, don't rely on the caller's voice alone.

Instead:
• Hang up.
• Call the person back using a phone number you already know.
• Verify the situation before taking any action.
A few extra moments of caution can help protect you and the people you care about.

As life changes, your estate plan should change with it.

Major life events are a good time to review your estate planning documents: your trust, will, and incapacity planning documents that form a complete estate plan.

When every piece works together, your estate plan is better equipped to do what it was meant to do: protect the people you love.

If you haven’t had your estate plan reviewed and updated, it may no longer accurately reflect your wishes.

That's why it's important to keep your estate planning documents updated and working together.

SAVE this post as a reminder to review your beneficiary designations, and share it with someone who may not know this important detail.

I always like to set out a glass of freedom for the Founding Fathers. I figured Santa shouldn’t get all the fun. Apparently, they stopped by.

The Founding Fathers had a plan for the future. Do you? Because just as freedom is worth celebrating, peace of mind is worth planning for.

Happy Independence Day from PlanWise Law. Wishing you and your family a safe, joyful Fourth of July as we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and the legacy we leave behind.

Or life takes an unexpected turn.

Having an estate plan in place can make one of life’s hardest moments much easier for the people you love.

I would be honored to help you create a plan that’s tailored to your life, your family, and your goals.

Quick question...
If someone asked you the difference between a will and a trust, would you know how to explain it?

Many people believe a Will is the gold standard of an effective estate plan. However, in many situations, a thoughtfully prepared Trust can offer protections and flexibility beyond what a Will can provide.

Understanding the difference is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your family and your legacy.

You’ll pay for the whole seat (FREE), but you’ll only need the edge! Come hear John C. Stokes talk about ABLE Accounts, Special Needs Trusts, and planning for your family’s future. Details below! 👇🏻

What would happen to your child if something happened to you?

It's not an easy question, but having a plan can bring peace of mind for both today and the future.

Studies show that fewer than half of parents of children with disabilities have a long-term plan in place for their child's future care if they become unable to provide for them.

Join us for our next Parent Advocacy Support Group as Attorney John Stokes of PlanWise Law discusses Special Needs Planning, ABLE Accounts, and how these tools may help families prepare for the future while protecting benefits and creating greater peace of mind.

It's never too early to begin learning about the options available to your family.

You don't have to have all the answers. Sometimes the first step is simply starting the conversation.

Because planning for tomorrow begins with learning today.
