If you're injured at a work event, can you file a workers' compensation claim?

Maybe. It really depends on the situation. Injuries that happen at company parties, networking events, or other work functions are not always covered. But if your employer required you to attend or the event was connected to your job responsibilities, you may have a claim.

The details matter. If you've been hurt and aren't sure what your rights are, it's worth taking a closer look at the circumstances.
