Welcome to Alabama Weather where the forecast is basically a group project that nobody coordinated.
Let’s discuss the next 48 hours of atmospheric chaos:
Sunday Afternoon:
Perfect weather. Warm, breezy, and just nice enough to trick you into grilling, washing your car, or planting flowers.
Sunday Night (around bedtime):
Mother Nature flips the script.
Strong storms, damaging winds, and the possibility of tornadoes roll through like the Crimson Tide offense.
Monday Morning:
“Hey y’all… what if we sprinkled a little snow in there too?” ❄️
Not enough to do anything useful… just enough to make everyone stare out the window and say, “Is that snow???”
Tuesday Morning:
Hard freeze. 🥶
Because apparently we skipped straight from spring → severe weather → winter again.
So within about two days we’ll experience:
☀️ Patio weather
🌪️ Tornado weather
❄️ Snow flurries
🥶 Freeze warning
At this point the safest outfit is probably:
• Shorts
• A rain jacket
• Snow boots
• And a bike helmet… just in case.
Stay weather aware tonight, Calera!
Disclaimer: We are not weather professionals, but we did notice they’re building a Holiday Inn Express in Calera, so our forecasting skills should improve any day now.
