📢 IMPORTANT INFORMATION on EAD extension based on Ukraine TPS as off Aug. 14, 2026

Last night USCIS published a new update on the expiration of the pending EADs for Ukrainians with approved or pending TPS renewals which is set to end on October 19, 2026.

If you’re still eligible but haven’t received your renewal EAD (category A-12 or C-19) and your application is pending, USCIS is sending notices that your expired EAD is automatically extended to Oct. 19, 2026 — by mail and to your myUSCIS account.

For Form I-9, employees can present their EAD (expiring April 19, 2025, or Oct. 19, 2023) plus the USCIS notice as proof of work authorization through October 19, 2026.
