This is my mother. I represented her at her citizenship interview and stood with her at her oath ceremony.
That's why I do this work.
My family came to the United States the same way many of my clients do.
Growing up with Mexican and Salvadoran roots in Los Angeles, immigration was never abstract to me. It was our story. I watched my family figure out a system that was not designed to be easy. I made a decision that that experience would mean something.
25 years later, I practice immigration law in Pasadena because I know what it costs a family to go through this without the right guidance. And I know what it looks like when they have it.
This Hispanic Heritage Month, I'm proud to serve the families who have the courage to come here and build something.

Mi familia llegó a Estados Unidos de la misma manera que muchos de mis clientes.
Crecí con raíces mexicanas y salvadoreñas en Los Ángeles. La inmigración nunca fue un tema abstracto para mí. Fue nuestra historia. Vi a mi familia navegar un sistema que no fue diseñado para ser fácil, y tomé una decisión: esa experiencia iba a significar algo.
