“You have to put yourself back in the context of that time,” Bayless said. “The College of Law had admitted women for a long time, but only between two and five per year. My class, the class of ’79, had the largest number of women who’d ever been admitted.”

Kay Bayless, a colleague in the practice of employment law on behalf of WV employees for many years, is now retired from active practice.

Our firm has represented employees fired for stopping shoplifters as well, but the somewhat similar situation that stands out is the person who was fired because she wrote down the thief's license plate number to turn in to the police!
