Although the federal government is currently shut down, Social Security payments will continue without interruption — and your payment dates will remain the same.

Social Security offices are open, but please note that some in-person services are limited during this time.

Launching from November 12th-15th 2024, Veteran Saves Week marks a monumental moment as we launch this annual celebration. This inaugural event honors the legacy of Military Saves Week, while shifting focus towards the unique financial journey of transitioning service members and Veterans through our four program pillars: Financial Stress, Housing, Employment, and Banking.

Each day of Veteran Saves Week will have a theme that touches on four important areas of financial readiness. These themes have been broadened so that you, our participating organizations, can connect with the concepts in the way that best supports your community and the work you do.

Together, hundreds of organizations and institutions will amplify information, resources, and tools to ensure we are prepared for the next emergency.
