Preparing your plaintiff for a deposition? Do not make these mistakes. ❌

1️⃣ Winging it. Preparation is key for a successful plaintiff deposition. Make sure your client is thoroughly prepped and ready for the process.

Pro tip: create comfort! Ensure your client feels at ease during deposition. Familiarity with the process helps them testify authentically.

2️⃣ Please don’t let them take on a ‘Woe is Me’ narrative. Instead, your client should be telling a tale of triumph and be the hero or heroine overcoming odds. Keep the testimony upbeat, positive, and focused on their future plans.

3️⃣ Spilling allll of the beans. 🙄 Advise your client to answer ONLY the questions asked. Avoid spilling unnecessary details—keeping the deposition efficient and preventing the opposition from gaining unnecessary insights.

Preparation, positivity, and precision - your winning combo for a deposition that leaves a lasting impression!

In 2019, Founder took a leap.

She decided to launch Goody Law Group with a clear vision: to advocate for people who felt unheard, underrepresented, or underestimated, and to do so in a way that made every client feel like part of our family.

Six years later, we’re looking back with so much gratitude for how far we’ve come! The growing team, partnering up with , the clients who have trusted us with their cases, and everyone who has cheered us on from the sidelines.

We’ve spent these years standing up to tough defendants, fighting for people during some of the hardest seasons of their lives, and securing life-changing compensation that has helped families recover and rebuild.

This work might not be easy, but it’s so meaningful.

Thank you for being here! Here’s to continuing to fight for what’s right. 🤍

We hear this misconception all the time, and it’s costing drivers money.

People are hesitant to tap into their UM/UIM coverage because they’re worried it’s going to make their insurance go up. Let’s clear this up. 👇🏻

Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage is specifically designed to protect YOU in the instance of a crash where you’re not at fault, but the other driver doesn’t have enough insurance to cover the damage they caused.

You have a contract with your insurance company. You pay for this coverage every month, and you’re entitled to use it in a not-at-fault situation, without the risk of your insurance premiums going up.

➡️ In general, rate increases happen when you’re at fault, not when you’re accessing the protection you’ve already paid for.

Don’t let misinformation stop you from pursuing the compensation you deserve.

Trust us, there are far too many uninsured and underinsured drivers on the road to risk driving without this protection.

If you’re unsure about your policy and protections, take a few minutes today to call your insurance provider and confirm your coverage.

Our team was able to get a $300,000 verdict recently for two broken fingers, and here’s a lesson we could all learn from it:

Before you assume an injury is “minor,” let us stop you right there.
In personal injury law, the value of an injury isn’t just about the diagnosis; it’s about the impact. How does it affect your ability to work? Your daily life? Your pain and suffering?

Insurance companies are quick to downplay injuries that sound small. They’ll use words like “minor” and “soft tissue” to devalue what you’ve been through. We don’t let that happen.

This is exactly why who you hire matters.

We fight for the full picture, not the number the insurance company offers on day one. 👏🏽

🚨 CLASS ACTION ALERT 🚨

Goody Law Group has filed a class action lawsuit against Blue Hill Specialty Insurance Company, Uber’s insurer. And this is bigger than one lawsuit.

Uber is already pushing a ballot initiative to restrict how crash victims recover medical expenses and limit what injury attorneys can be paid, making it harder for injured people to find lawyers willing to fight powerful corporations. It would also make it harder for injury victims to receive necessary medical care.

Now we’re seeing the same playbook in the claims process itself.

California law is explicit: Uber’s UM/UIM coverage must be the primary insurance for injured drivers. Instead, Blue Hill funnels injured drivers into “Occupational Accident Insurance,” which pays pennies on the dollar. Then they claim the real UM/UIM policy only covers non-economic damages.

Uber’s insurance company wants to block your access to legal representation, fairness, and justice. Its insurer is blocking your access to benefits. Same playbook. Same target: you and every other consumer under the guise of consumer protection.

We filed suit alleging bad faith, breach of contract, and violations of California’s Business and Professions Code 17200. We’re seeking full accountability and recovery for every person harmed: you, your family, and your friends.

When corporations count on injured people not pushing back, that’s where we come in. 👊🏻

If you or someone you know was injured as an Uber driver or passenger and had a claim delayed, denied, or routed through other insurance first, we want to hear from you. Link in bio.

When you’re looking for a lawyer, the last thing you want is more stress or uncertainty. You just want someone you can trust, who will guide and support you while fighting for the results you deserve.

That’s exactly what we hope to be for every client who walks through our doors. We’re all about clear communication and guidance as we advocate for you and your case.

Want more proof? Here’s what a recent client had to say about their experience:

“When I was in an accident due to a drunk driver everyone in my family told me to pursue suit. I had never done anything like it and was worried. Fortunately, my uncle had recommended Goody Law Group, having this connection put me at ease. Throughout the process I always got communication when needed and assurance that things were running smoothly. I left this case in a situation that has now allowed me to pay back the family members that helped me during such a difficult season. I was even able to contribute toward buying my father a new (used) car! I am beyond grateful and will recommend them myself to others in need!”

We’re grateful for the trust our clients place in us and are proud to stand by them during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

If you’re looking for a team that will truly advocate for you and support your future, we’re here when you’re ready. 💪 Learn more at goodylawgroup.com
