Before Greyson Goody was a trial attorney fighting for crash victims and employees, Greyson Goody was just a kid in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, listening to his dad talk about the law at the dinner table.

His dad was a public defender, starting with DUIs and family law cases. Over the years, that work evolved into something much heavier: he’s now a federal public defender and habeas corpus specialist, handling death penalty defense, one of only a handful of attorneys in the country who do this work.

Growing up hearing those stories, and watching his dad in trial, is what pulled him toward the courtroom himself. And to this day, when a case gets tough, he thinks back to what his dad deals with, and it puts everything in perspective.

From a small town in Wyoming to litigation partner at Goody Law Group, it’s been quite a journey.

Sharing some moments from our Goody Law Group summer team hangout! ☀️❤️

We stepped away from the office for an evening of pizza, live music in the park, and some much-needed time together outside of work.

Building a great team is about more than the work we do. It’s about the people beside you, the relationships you build, and taking the time to enjoy moments like these together.

So grateful for our close-knit, mighty GLG team and everything we’re building together. ❤️

The client experience and client communication are one of our biggest values. This is how we typically go about talking a client through what to expect after they file a lawsuit:

📝 Step 1: Discovery

🎙️ Step 2: Depositions

🩺 Step 3: Independent medical examinations

⚖️ Step 4: Mediation - 9 times out of 10, this is where cases resolve.

🏛️ Step 5: Trial - if it doesn’t settle in mediation.

We make sure our clients know what’s coming before it happens, especially early on. When the Case Management Conference (CMC) is scheduled, we tell them. When we get a trial date, we call AND send a letter, so it’s never a surprise.

Being informed doesn’t just ease anxiety. It’s what makes clients feel like they’re part of the process, not just a case file.

Our client was riding his bike when a car pulled in front of him, leaving him no way to avoid the collision. But the police report told a different story. It placed the blame entirely on him.

Our prelitigation team, Taly Goody | Empowering Women in Law + Business and Maki Ginama, didn’t buy it. They dug into the facts, flipped liability, and proved his injuries were serious and life-altering.

The Result: $925,000 secured for our client, on a case most firms would’ve walked away from. 💪🏽

The first story told isn’t always the right one. And being told you’re at fault doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have a case.

If you’ve been told your case is unwinnable, it may just need the right team to take a closer look.
