🏠 Foreclosures Are Going Up

More homeowners are having trouble paying their mortgages.

In Tennessee, foreclosure starts jumped from 290 to 710 in August. That’s a 145% increase from last year! Oklahoma was up 102%, with several other states also seeing big increases.

Across the country, nearly 26,000 homes started the foreclosure process in August, up 7% from last year.

This doesn’t mean a housing crash is coming, but it’s something to watch.
