🌴 BEHIND THE BLADES 🌴

If you’ve spent any time in Palm Springs, you’ve probably noticed the colorful signs perched above the street signs throughout town.

They’re called neighborhood Blade Signs, and they’re one of my favorite Palm Springs details. Everything has some meaning. I’m obsessed & getting to know the neighborhoods better 😍

Each blade marks a unique neighborhood with its own history, architecture, personality, and story. Some are filled with old Hollywood history. Some are known for iconic mid-century design. Others are hidden gems tucked away behind palm-lined streets.

Im exploring some of Palm Springs’ most iconic neighborhoods and sharing what makes each one special.

Because finding the right home isn’t just about the house—it’s about finding the neighborhood that feels like home.

The market continues to normalize with more inventory, longer days on market, and a little more breathing room for buyers.

Well-priced homes are still selling, but we’re seeing a more balanced market than we’ve had in quite some time.

This one makes me smile.

My first-time homebuyers came into this process prepared. They did their homework, researched lenders, saved for their down payment, asked great questions, and took the time to understand every step along the way.

After a 45-day escrow while the seller secured a replacement property, we're officially closed!

And what a great place to call home. Bella Vista has a low HOA of just $145 quarterly (wow!), a prime La Quinta location, is just blocks from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and close to the weekly farmers market.

Great buyers, great teamwork, and a smooth transaction all around.

Interesting shift happening in the housing market 👀🏡

Inventory is up, homes are sitting a little longer, and buyers are finally getting a bit more breathing room again.

Palm Springs & Other Desert Cities has always been more than just real estate though 🌴
People buy the lifestyle here — sunshine, architecture, pools, mountain views, and a certain feeling.

Curious to see where things head next.

The housing market is shifting in buyers' favor. Active inventory is up 8.9% compared to last year, home prices have fallen 2.4%, the biggest weekly drop on record since Realtor.com started tracking in 2018, and homes are taking six days longer to sell.

It's the third straight week of price declines, and Realtor.com economists say the slowdown "goes beyond normal seasonality." Mortgage rates are also lower than they were a year ago, with the average 30-year fixed rate at 6.11% for the week ending Feb. 5, according to Freddie Mac.
