There is a version of Jupiter that exists before the day really begins.

Before the beach parking fills.
Before the restaurants get busy.
Before the afternoon heat settles in.

Before everyone is moving in ten different directions.
Jupiter before 9 AM has its own rhythm.

For John, some of the best thoughts and ideas come during those early morning walks or runs, sometimes along the beach, sometimes through the neighborhood, when the world is quiet and the only sounds are the birds and the ocean.

Our blog is a reflection on the morning routines that make Jupiter feel like home: beach walks, runners, dogs who know the route, coffee after salt air, boaters heading out early, golfers starting their day, and the quiet moments locals love before the town gets busy.

County Line Road Bridge Closing October 20

A heads-up for residents in the Jupiter, Tequesta, and Hobe Sound area:
Martin County will close the County Line Road Bridge beginning Tuesday, October 20 as part of a full bridge replacement project.

The closure is expected to last approximately 360 days, with completion currently anticipated in October 2027.

The existing bridge, originally built in 1974, will be replaced with a new structure featuring wider travel lanes, shoulders, and a pedestrian sidewalk.

If you regularly travel between northern Tequesta/Jupiter and southeastern Martin County, this will be an important change to keep in mind over the coming year.

Martin County has also published an official detour map and project information for residents.
