🤖 YES, IT’S A ROBOT. NO, WE HAVEN’T REPLACED OUR ATTORNEYS WITH AI! 😂⚖️

Let’s talk about our new AI front desk assistant at Sullenger Law Office, PLLC.

Listen, folks. Alex is just out here trying to make an honest living answering phones at Sullenger Law Office, PLLC, and some of y’all won’t even give him a chance! 🤣

We get it. He’s a robot. He’s different. But he’s polite, shows up to work every day, and hasn’t asked for a single vacation day. 😂 Let’s be honest… these days, you can’t order at the McDonald’s drive-thru without encountering AI.

And yet, we cooperate because we want those hot fries and that crispy Diet Coke! 🍟🥤😂

Well, our office isn’t much different!

When you call our office, our AI receptionist will ask you a few simple questions. If you’ll give it a chance and provide your information, that information comes directly to REAL PEOPLE in our office.

✅ We receive a transcript of your call.

✅ Your message gets delivered to our staff.

✅ A REAL HUMAN will review your information and call you back!

The AI answers the phone. Our PEOPLE take care of you.

We implemented this system because of staffing needs and to help ensure your calls don’t go unanswered while our team is busy assisting other clients.

So please, be patient with Alex, our new AI receptionist. He’s just trying to do his job! 😂 If you'll talk to a robot for hot fries. Give ours a couple of minutes to get you a real attorney.

And remember, hanging up on the robot doesn’t get your message to us any faster. In fact, it may mean we never know why you called!

We appreciate your patience, your understanding, and your continued trust in Sullenger Law Office, PLLC.

⚖️ Real attorneys. Real staff. Real people. Just a little technology helping us along the way.

📞 A Quick Note About Our New Front Desk Assistant

If you’ve called Sullenger Law Office recently, you may have noticed something new: our front desk attendant is now AI-assisted.

We understand that not everyone is comfortable speaking with AI, so we want to explain exactly how it works.

Due to staffing needs, we needed a reliable way to make sure calls are answered and important information isn’t missed. Our AI receptionist helps us do exactly that.

After every call, our office receives an emailed transcript of the conversation. Your message doesn’t disappear into a computer somewhere—it comes directly to our team so we can review it and determine who needs to follow up.

And most importantly: You WILL receive a call back from a real person.❤️

The AI receptionist is there to answer the phone, gather basic information, and help us make sure your call is documented. It is not replacing the attorneys or staff who work on your case, answer your questions, and communicate with you.

We know technology can take some getting used to, and we appreciate your patience as we make this transition.

Our goal hasn’t changed: making sure our clients and potential clients are heard, responded to, and taken care of.

Family law makes me think of this post. I used to share it regularly. If you share your child jointly with an ex, or are currently going through divorce, give it a read.

Dear Non-Custodial Parent:

Have you called your child today? Seriously. Have you? Did you call them yesterday? The day before? The day before that? Regardless of your physical proximity to your child, you are a PARENT. They know when they are ignored. Think for one moment...Do you have other kids in your home? Would you go days or weeks without speaking to them? Asking how their day was...congratulating them on a test grade or soccer goal? The difference between a non-custodial parent and an absent parent is YOU. How YOU choose to parent your child. "Visiting" you shouldn't be visiting. It should be like finally getting a plate of grandma's biscuits and gravy. It should feel like HOME. How can your house be a home to your children if they don't even know the people in it? If you don't know them. I constantly hear people saying they "can't" because they only get to see their children 4-6 days out of the month...welcome to Kentucky. The home of the coal mine, factories, USEC, a paper mill and such. Welcome to law enforcement...or fire fighting...or nursing...or, even better, the military. These people continue to have good relationships with their children because they CHOOSE to. They utilize every moment and every new technology to ensure that the bond with their children remains intact in spite of their absence. Co-parenting is what YOU make it. Fancy vacations are not what they will remember...never seeing your face at a football game is. Going to sleep feeling like they have been forgotten is. Anxiety when it is time to "visit" you is.

I do not say all of this to knock NCPs. I say it because it NEEDS to be said. We aren't kids anymore. Times have changed. This isn't our parent's divorce. We have the power CHOOSE the kind of relationships we have with our children. We HAVE Skype...and texting...and picture messaging...and voice notes...and 40 mpg cars. USE THEM. Let your kids know you. Know them. Show them that they are more than a responsibility. Actively seek out ways to communicate. Because I promise you, they are watching and waiting for your call. They are looking to see just who out there is rooting for them. And, really, is it fair to rely on a 5, 8, 10, or 14 year old to facilitate a relationship with a parent? They can barely navigate surface relationships! You have got to meet them halfway. To teach them how to put in work for those they love. HOW WILL THEY LEARN HOW TO BE A HUSBAND OR WIFE, OR PARENTS THEMSELVES, WHEN THEY DONT SEE EXAMPLES OF HOW TO WORK HARD FOR INTIMACY?? How will they know their value when they are expected to fiercely love someone who gives the minimum. Near or far, you have a responsibility to teach them what their love is worth through your actions. Take that responsibility seriously. Love them, learn them, lift them up, answer their questions, celebrate their victories, and dry their tears DAILY. Because, even if you can be distracted from their absence by the tasks of the day, I assure you, they are ALWAYS aware of yours.

For all of your family law issues, give Western Kentucky’s most aggressive guy, Wes Sullenger, a call at 270-443-9401 for a free intake.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost.

We honor the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape it.

We remember the families who said goodbye that morning without knowing it would be the last time.

And we remember how, in the days that followed, Americans came together—not as strangers, but as neighbors.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, the families forever changed, and the courage and unity our nation showed in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — Never Forget. 🇺🇸
