Anyone who thinks you can do do a renovation in 30-60 days think again! Unless you are Chip and Joanna Gaines or the Rehab Addict lady on HGTV is your girlfriend, I don’t see it happening! So, seven months later we are down to hanging hanging a couple of light fixtures on Monday; finishing up installation of a 400 amp electric service we had to upgrade to; a major cleanup and some paint and stain touch up.

Final coat of clear to go on floors tomorrow along with final coat of paint on walls and trim. New doors are up and paint to go on doors tomorrow. Blinds for windows to go up Friday along with a major cleanup inside. Planning to start moving some of the heavy stuff this weekend.

Well, what began as a 90-120 day renovation has turned into a 6 month project thus far. But, we’re slowly getting to the finish line! Sanding the floors now to bring the wood back to life and then stain to match the coffered ceiling. Still waiting on a couple of light fixtures to arrive.

Got one up. UPS lost the other one, had to re-order.
