HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎊🎆 At MGC LAW, APC. we are beginning 2023 with the results of last year’s hard work! 💪🏼 We were closed Monday in observance of the New Year Holiday and returned Tuesday to tons of Happy Mail 💌📪✉️ including 4 work authorization cards ! The first one is for a client with a pending ASYLUM case. It is important to know that if you or someone you know entered the United States seeking Asylum, you only have ONE YEAR to file your Asylum Application. If you do not file within one year you can and very likely will, lose some rights. The second client is a DACA RENEWAL. Quick DACA Update: Although USCIS is accepting new applications and payments, they are not adjudicating these Applications but they are adjudicating renewals and Applications for Advance Parole. The third is for the Mother of a USC Marine. We filed for and were granted PAROLE IN PLACE (PIP). Mother is now applying for her green card in the United States with no need to travel to Ciudad Juarez for an interview …. & if we get lucky she may not even have to interview in the United States either. We are getting green cards in the mail with no need for interview. This heavily depends on how well prepared your packet is, among other things. The fourth one is from an ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS Application that we filed through marriage. Wife filed for husband and they await their USCIS Interview in the United States with no need to travel to Ciudad Juarez for an interview and we have a work permit while we wait for their interview. This process takes a total of 10-12 months from beginning to interview! Trust the results! Trust the experience ! What a great way to begin the New Year! HAPPY 2023!!
