I’ve said it before and will say it again, I’m a huge fan of Girls Inc. of Owensboro Daviess Co. In the summer of 92, I was part of this amazing program and privileged to work with some pretty incredible kids. All these years later, I’m still inspired by their mission statement of growing young ladies into Stong, Smart, & Bold adults. I try to share that message with the juvenile females who find themselves in my courtroom as well as my own daughter! So glad I was able to support the program tonight at the Red on the River fundraiser! Keep doing amazing things Girls Inc.

Definitely worth a look as you could be one of many who may have unclaimed $$$ being held for distribution.

Good afternoon, Daviess County!

Office of the Daviess County Circuit Clerk, Jennifer Besecker is asking for your help in locating individuals who may be owed money being held by the courts.

The funds may include cash bonds that were posted for themselves or someone else, restitution payments owed to victims, or overpayments on certain cases.

A list of names can be found in the comments. These individuals have posted a cash bond, but the resulting checks were either never cashed or were returned to our office as undeliverable, return to sender, or because the recipient had moved and no forwarding address was available.

If your name is on the list:
Please contact our Bookkeeper at 270-687-7209 for instructions on how to claim your money. You will be required to provide proof of identity and appear in person at our office with that identification before a check can be issued.

If your name is not on the list but you recognize someone who is:
Please tag them in the comments or on this post so they can be made aware that they may have funds waiting to be claimed.

If you don’t recognize anyone on the list:
We would greatly appreciate it if you would share this post on your page. Your share may help us reach someone who is entitled to these funds.

Please be aware that any money remaining unclaimed will be turned over to the Kentucky State Treasurer’s Unclaimed Property Division in November.

Thank you for taking the time to help us spread the word. Our goal is to return these funds to the individuals to whom they rightfully belong.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Hardesty Besecker
Daviess County Circuit Clerk

Had a great evening attending the Daviess County - Kentucky Farm Bureau annual meeting! The food was fantastic and I was able to meet a lot of fine people! Hats off to KFB, Apollo High School, the students, and the Daviess County Sheriff's Office for their efforts!! Blown away by how good the school looked and how it’s changed since I used to roam those halls!!!

District Court Judge Shannon Meyer and I started our day early yesterday by participating in the Audubon-Bon Harbor Neighborhood Alliance cleanup. It’s always nice to pitch in when able to give back to the community. Thanks to the Owensboro Neighborhood Alliance for making this possible.
