But did you know Solutions Real Estate Group is right here?! 🏡❤️ We’ll admit it the building currently looks a little vacant and lifeless from the outside.

But upstairs? It’s a completely different story.

Our office is full of life, ideas, conversations, closings, problem-solving, and a team working hard for people all over our community. And soon, the outside is going to start looking a whole lot more like what’s happening inside! 🙌

🎨 Exterior painting and parking lot upgrades are planned for September, and we could not be more excited to watch this place come to life.

So the next time you’re sitting in our parking lot enjoying your lunch and you happen to think…

This past April, we gave Solutions a whole new look, but it wasn’t the beginning of our story. We refreshed the brand, introduced our new logo, and brought together the fantastic team of real estate professionals you see today!

For 30 years, Gail has served her clients with determination, experience, and genuine care. But if you know Gail, you know she’s never been all business! She can turn a marble shower into a marketing opportunity, a kitchen island into a stage, and an ordinary property tour into something no one will forget. 😂

Behind all that sparkle is a devoted mother of three, proud Gigi to nine, great-grandmother to one, loyal friend, trusted mentor, and an irreplaceable part of the Solutions family. 🏡 MEET SCOTT CALHOUN | BROKER

With 33 years in real estate and experience as a broker since 2006, Scott Calhoun brings industry knowledge, steady leadership, and an unwavering commitment to doing what is right.

His path into real estate began in 1992 when his grandmother offered him a loan on one condition: he had to purchase real estate. After buying a fourplex, Steve Castlen encouraged him to get his license—and 33 years later, here he is.

Scott holds a degree in law enforcement and previously served as Indiana Director of Loss Prevention for Federated Department Stores. He is the father of four, father-in-law to two, grandfather to six, and proud owner of four granddogs. He also coached youth sports for many years, including 18 consecutive years of baseball and the opportunity to coach each of his children.

Something surprising? He had a pet alligator growing up! 🐊

As broker of Solutions, Scott focuses on supporting agents and matching clients with the person best equipped to help them reach their goals. His agents know he is available, willing to share his knowledge, and likely to answer the phone when they need him.

That philosophy reflects his reputation for honesty and transparency. People may not always like what Scott has to say, but they can trust that it will be the truth.

🏡 MEET KRISTEN HALE | OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Kristen Hale is the kind of person who can be handed a problem, a half-formed idea, or a pile of moving parts and immediately start looking for the story, the solution, and the next step—usually with a cup of strong black coffee nearby. ☕️

Long before Solutions, she dreamed of becoming a real estate agent. Life led her into healthcare instead, where she spent more than 20 years in operations, human resources, and administrative leadership. Through it all, the heart of her work remained helping people, solving problems, and making complicated things feel clearer.

Now that early dream has come full circle. While completing her real estate classes, she is helping build Solutions from the inside out.

From branding and social media to office resources, listing strategies, recruiting, and internal processes, much of her work begins with one question: “How can we make this better?” She loves turning an unfinished idea into something useful and polished without losing the personality behind it.

Something you may not know? She is also the published author of the Crowns & HoneyRock books and owner of HoneyRock Photography. Writing and photography have taught her to notice the meaning in moments others might overlook, a perspective that shapes her work.

What drew her to Solutions was the opportunity to help create something local, personal, and rooted in integrity. Scott’s willingness to trust the strengths of the people around him, along with his and Gail’s mentorship, gave her the encouragement to finally pursue her license.

What she values most about Solutions is that each person is encouraged to bring their own strengths to the table while knowing they have a team behind them. That combination of individuality, teamwork, and genuine care is exactly what she wants clients and agents to experience here.

🏡 MEET GEORGE WATHEN | REAL ESTATE AGENT

With 23 years of residential and commercial real estate experience, George Wathen brings honesty, fairness, and close attention to detail to every client he serves.

George has been married to Joanie for 46 years, and together they have six children and 17 grandchildren. He has been a member of Immaculate Catholic Church for 65 years, coached youth sports for 24 years, served as a County Commissioner, owned a business, and worked in manufacturing management.

George entered real estate after a relative invited him to join a firm. He quickly discovered that he enjoyed the variety, challenges, and opportunity to make a positive difference by helping people achieve their goals.

Clients can expect hard work, consistent communication, and careful attention throughout their transaction. After more than two decades in the business, George has experienced nearly every challenge real estate can bring, but his client’s best interest remains his first priority.

That commitment sometimes means advising a client not to buy. George once encouraged someone to walk away from a home they wanted because he believed it would be a poor decision. For George, protecting the client matters more than completing the sale.
