Navigating Covid-19
The health and safety of our employees and clients is of the utmost importance to us. As the impact of Covid-19 grows, we here at Griffin and Jordan plan to continue meeting your legal needs during these difficult times.
Our firm will remain open. Depending upon circumstances, at times, the physical office may be closed. The attorneys and staff will work from home if necessary and you likely will not even notice any difference.
Whenever possible, document ex*****on and real estate closings will continue to be conducted at our office. We will take precautions to protect your health and the health of our employees for those meetings. We are practicing social distancing and hand sanitizer is available for all. Conference rooms will be wiped down with sanitizing products before and after client meetings. Please do not come into the office if you are not feeling well. We can arrange for documents to be signed in the parking lot if necessary. We respectfully request that parties not vital to the document signing or closing do not attend.
If an in-person meeting is not required, our attorneys would be happy to meet with you via video or telephone conference.
Additionally, the Courts throughout the state have postponed all non-emergency pending matters. If you have a scheduled matter over the next several weeks, you should not appear in court before speaking with us. Your attorney will contact you.
The Social Security Administration has also closed its offices. Hearings are currently being conducted via teleconference. If you have a hearing scheduled in the upcoming weeks your attorney will contact you.
We will continue to keep you informed as circumstances change.
We understand that this is a trying time for everyone. We feel privileged to serve this community and we will continue to do everything possible to make sure your legal needs are met. In the meantime, wash your hands, stay home when you can, and listen to the experts. We will get through this together.
Best wishes.
