Arizona Makes Solar Standard in New Homes | Contact me today for all your Real Estate needs
It’s amazing to see how solar power has shifted from an optional upgrade to an expected feature in Arizona homes. These days, buyers aren’t just interested in square footage—they’re also asking about energy efficiency and solar readiness right from the start. Many builders are stepping up by pre-wiring new homes for solar, making it easier for homeowners to add a system at closing or soon after. Across Arizona’s master-planned communities, energy efficiency now helps set similar properties apart, providing real value for families comparing their options. What used to be an afterthought—something you’d consider retrofitting—has become part of the initial home selection process, right alongside decisions like countertops or cabinets. With our hot Arizona summers and high cooling costs, solar isn’t just a trend; it’s a practical way to manage monthly expenses and create a more comfortable home. I love helping clients navigate these choices and find a home that truly fits their needs and lifestyle.

Arizona Housing Forecast 2026–2027 | Contact me today for all your Real Estate needs
As someone who’s committed to guiding clients through every twist and turn of the real estate journey, I’m keeping a close eye on Arizona’s housing trends for 2026–2027. Right now in Greater Phoenix, the median sale price is holding steady at $445K, with around 23,400 active listings and about 4.3 months of inventory. Homes are spending a median of 64 days on the market. What does this mean for buyers? List prices are softening, but closed sale prices remain steady—opening the door for more negotiation on credits, inspections, and upgrades, so you can get better value for your money. Builders are offering incentives, which means comparing your true monthly costs can help you decide between new builds and resales. For my fellow sellers, pricing based on the last 45 days of comparable sales and being proactive about concessions is key—especially if your home is on the market for more than 60–70 days. Looking ahead to early 2027, I’m expecting a stable-to-slightly-softer market with more room for negotiation. Keep an eye on those near-7% mortgage rates, builder buydowns, insurance, and cooling costs. My goal is always to help you make smart, confident decisions—whether you’re buying or selling in Arizona.
