Some toxins to watch out for are in our food & others in our personal care products. Others yet are in our habits & relationships. Poor Sleep Habits should be avoided. Why?
Mental and Physical Health: Sleep deprivation weakens the central nervous system and immune system, leading to reduced concentration, memory lapses, irritability, and a higher susceptibility to infections.
Chronic Disease Risk: Consistently poor sleep is linked to high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and obesity due to hormonal imbalances and increased insulin levels.
Safety and Performance: Lack of rest impairs reaction times and decision-making, dramatically increasing the likelihood of accidents and errors in work or daily activities.
So, go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, including weekends, to reinforce your body's internal clock. Get 7-8 hours of sleep every night. Avoid caffeine & alcohol in the evening.
