Meet the panel, part 3 of 4: Flynn Dobbs. 💜

As the City of Orlando's Public Art Coordinator, Flynn oversees major public art initiatives, including the Bloomberg Public Art Challenge, a $1 million citywide initiative addressing food insecurity through public art. A curator and certified Fine Art Appraiser, she co-opened College Park Gallery in 2020, has served as Board Chair of the Downtown Arts District, and was named one of OBJ's 40 Under 40 this year.

Flynn joins Cole NeSmith and Robert Rivers, with Jim Hobart moderating, at Art in Action, our joint luncheon with the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida.

At CFAWL's Judicial Reception, the judiciary attends complimentary, and so do CFAWL members. So bring one along: the judge you clerked for, your mentor on the bench, or the judge who swore you in.

Thursday, November 12, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Eola View (150 E Central Blvd, Orlando). An evening of ch*****ne, city lights, a live DJ and a photobooth with the Central Florida bench. ✨

We're teaming up with the OCBA Young Lawyers Section for the 2026 Backpack Stuffing Event, filling backpacks with school supplies for kids in Orange and Osceola counties. We need about a dozen helping hands to get it done.

What a wonderful afternoon at our Fall Festival! 🍂

Thank you to everyone who joined CFAWL and the OCBA Parents in the Law Committee at the High Park Pavilion in Baldwin Park on Saturday. The kids got crafting at the Pumpkin Patch Crafters table, the grown-ups raised a glass at the Autumn Toast, and there was plenty of good food and good company to go around.

Meet the panel, part 2 of 4: Robert Rivers. 🎨

An accomplished draftsman and printmaker, Robert is a Professor of Studio Art at UCF's School of Visual Arts and Design and has taught art at the university level since 1980. His drawing The Promised Land, begun in 2010, now runs more than 500 feet across more than 230 panels. About 180 feet of it were on view when he received the 2021 Florida Prize in Contemporary Art from the Orlando Museum of Art.

Proceeds from CFAWL's Judicial Reception help fund the CFAWL Scholarship Program. Meet one of the reasons it matters: Kaylah Clark, a 2026 CFAWL Scholarship recipient, put her scholarship toward preparing for the bar exam and passed the July 2026 Florida Bar Examination. 💜

Meet the panel, part 1 of 4: please welcome our newest panelist, Cole NeSmith! 🎨

Cole is the creator and Artistic Director of IMMERSE, the Performing and Interactive Arts Festival, and the founder of Creative City Project, the nonprofit he started in 2012 to elevate Orlando as a destination for world-class art and culture. Through The Memoir Agency, his events welcome hundreds of thousands of guests every year.
