Did you know that work comp claims adjusters often deny Firefighter injury claims BEFORE securing any medical opinions to support their denials?

Here's an example: In 2024 a Florida Firefighter severely injured his cervical spine on a call. The Employer's work comp carrier sent him to three (3) of their hand selected doctors, all of whom told them in writing that this was clearly a work-related injury that required surgery. Despite this, the Employer still denied the claim, leaving the Firefighter unprotected, unable to work and without benefits, placing his career in jeopardy. They denied the claim and then later tried to buy an opinion to support their denial. We stopped this from happening and forced the Employer to reverse their denial and pay full benefits.

Don't assume that Employers or their claims adjusters are being honest or accurate if they tell you that you don't qualify for benefits. If you have received a denial of your injury, hypertension/ heart disease or PTSD claim, have your claim evaluated and know your legal rights!
