Relief could be on the way for condo owners. 📢

The new Florida bill SB 696 proposes offering up to $2,500 in grants to low-income homeowners facing special assessments. This is something that sounds great, but the devil is in the details.

Our Managing Principal, John Cadden, notes: “Who makes the grant underwriting decision, how much money is going to be appropriated, and what is the potential amount of money that will be needed? It seems like a good political platform, but it may have a large impact in most cases. So we’ll have to monitor and see.”
