This is not a safe or effective alternative to a garbage disposal. Remember, it is not recommended to have a disposal with septic especially a blender disposal. Besides the obvious can anyone tell me what's wrong in this picture?

I took this picture of a vent in an attic. It appears at the vent hook up everything is fine. Once I got into the attic this is what I saw. The warm air from the dryer shooting onto this particle board isn't good because over time moisture from the warm air will destroy the wood.
