Here’s what most owners don’t know: the profession itself already says otherwise — in writing.

The REALTOR® Code of Ethics (Article 11) treats property management as its own distinct discipline, separate from sales. And it’s explicit: a REALTOR® shouldn’t take on work outside their field of competence unless they bring in someone competent — or fully disclose the gap to the client.

The casual “I’ve got this” does neither.
