When I tell people that I am a Notary, I often get the response along the lines of, “Like a Notary Public at the Bank?” 😊

Kinda but no, there’s a difference! A notary at the bank typically provides services at their location during business hours only and they are limited as to what type of documents they can notarize.

As an Independent Mobile Remote Notary, I provide more flexibility by bringing notary services to you or assisting you remotely online.

Currently Working on Leveling Up My RON Services!

I am spending the day focused on completing my Remote Online Notary (RON) training with Pactima! I'm so excited to continue expanding the services I can offer my clients!

Pactima will be my second RON platform, adding even more flexibility and options when it comes to serving my clients remotely.

My Goal: Provide my clients with more options, convenience, and a seamless online notarization experience!

I’m always looking for ways to grow, learn, and better serve my clients. This is another step forward!

Acceptable vs. Unacceptable forms of ID when conducting a notarization!

One of the most important steps in a notarization is verifying the signer’s identity. But not every form of identification can be accepted.

✅ Generally acceptable: A current, government-issued ID that includes the signer’s photo, physical description, and signature.

❌ Examples of IDs that are generally NOT acceptable for notarization:
• Social Security card
• Birth or marriage certificate
• Credit cards
• School ID
• Library card
• Temporary driver’s license

⭐ Pro tip: ID requirements can vary depending on your state’s notary laws, so always make sure you’re following the requirements where the notarization takes place.

Don’t wait until signing day to find out your ID isn’t acceptable! Have the proper identification ready and let your notary know which ID you will be using to make the process as smooth as possible.
