The sun reaches these mountains before it reaches the rest of the valley.
Light slips through the pines, catches the morning mist, and slowly spills across the ridgeline. An eagle circles high above the forest. Somewhere below, an elk moves quietly through the aspens. The only sound is the breeze brushing the trees, carrying the unmistakable feeling that the world is waking exactly as it has for centuries.
Then, almost unexpectedly, the cabin appears.
Its steep A-frame rises from six secluded mountain acres as though it had always belonged here. Hidden among the pines inside the gated community of Pine Ridge Estates, this custom retreat doesn't compete with the landscape. It becomes part of it. Beyond the deck lies the protected Manti-La Sal National Forest, where the views remain untouched and Skyline Drive opens the door to miles of alpine wilderness.
Inside, nature never leaves.
Thirty-foot tongue-and-groove cathedral ceilings draw your eyes upward while walls of glass pull the mountains into every room. Sunlight dances across a waterfall marble island before drifting toward the great room, where a handsome wood stove waits for winter evenings. When darkness settles over the mountain, skylights above the bed reveal something few people ever experience anymore: a sky filled with thousands of stars.
Outside, every season writes a different chapter. Summer brings fishing at Potters Pond and quiet afternoons exploring alpine lakes. Autumn turns the mountains into a tapestry of gold. Winter transforms the landscape into a private wilderness, accessible only by tracked vehicle, making arrival feel less like reaching a cabin and more like entering another world. Eagles, deer, elk, wild turkeys, and even the rare snowshoe hare become familiar neighbors.
Modern comforts quietly support the experience without interrupting it. Smart appliances, efficient HVAC, dependable Wi-Fi, and a beautifully crafted geodesic dome tucked among the trees ensure the retreat feels every bit as comfortable as it is remote. Nearby Mount Pleasant and Spring City offer small-town charm before the mountains gently reclaim your attention.
Some properties are measured by square footage.
Others are measured by how they make you feel when the first light touches the mountains.
This is one of those places.
