Disability QOTD: I’ve been denied Social Security Disability benefits. Now what?
Unfortunately, only about one-third of Social Security disability claims are initially approved. If you're not initially approved, you can file an appeal to the Social Security Administration. If you're not approved after this appeal, you can request a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge. After an ALJ hearing, you'll request a review by the Appeals Council.
Fortunately, you don't have to handle this process on your own. Our attorneys are here to take care of everything, from filing your initial application to gathering evidence and records and representing you in hearings or court proceedings.
